SYMMETRICAL SEALS
 
Symmetrical Seals manufactured by us are specifically meant for linear & reciprocating dynamic applications. The symmetrical design allows for interchangeability between rod & piston applications. As a result it makes it popular for stock keeping & reduced inventory.
 
LIP SEALS:
From the below mentioned various profiles of the seals, it is clear that for low friction, low wear & low pressure sealing  applications, seals without energizing rubber elements most  preferred ones due to its flexible dynamic seal lip. Such seals are Lip Seals.  
 
SQUEEZE SEALS:
These seals typically incorporate an energizing rubber element and are generally characterized by high friction, high wear & good low pressure sealing. To avoid a pressure trap between two seals & potential seal failure, it  is recommended not to use energizer seal back to back bidirectional piston sealing applications.
 
HEAVY DUTY SYMMETRICAL U-SEALS

Used interchangeably for piston or rod sealing, these u seals employ the same tough urethane material found in our heavy duty Rod & Piston U seals.
 
HEAVY DUTY SYMMETRICAL U-SEALS

Temperature Range -50 to +200 F
Pressure Range 0 to 5000 PSI
 
Style HU feature a reverse bevel lip design and are molded from high quality urethane. The balanced symmetrical design makes them ideal for rod or piston applications.
 
PREMIUM U-SEALS

Material 95 A Urethane
Temperature Range -65 to +265 F
Pressure Range 0 to 5000 PSI
 
Standard – Height & cross section are equal, thus giving a square seal. Utilizes type “D” lip.
   
Deep- Utilizes same “D” lip, but seal height is greater than the cross section, thus giving a rectangular shape.
   
SQB- Same dimensions as the standard seal. Beveled lip design provides better film breaking. Utilizes type “B” lip.
   
Type B- Same dimensions as the Deep seal. Beveled lip design provide better film breaking. Utilizes type “B” lip.
 
FLUOROCARBON U-SEALS

Material 95 A Flurocarbon
Temperature Range -20 to +400 F
Pressure Range 0 to 2000 PSI
 
With the same profile as Polyurethane U Seal line, these u seals are molded from fluorocarbon compound. While being compatible with a broader range of fluids, these fluorocarbon seals will also operate continuously at temperatures from -20 deg. to +400 def. F. 
 
POLYURETHANE U-SEALS

Temperature Range -65 to +220 F
Pressure Range 0 to 5000 PSI
 
Polyurethane u-seals offers excellent resistance to extrusion and abrasion. The round cross section expanders offers energized sealing from 0 to 5000 psi.
 
Standard
Height and cross section are equal, thus giving a square seal. Utilizes type "D" lip
Deep
Utilizes the same "D" lip, but the seal height is greater than the cross section, thus giving a rectangular shape.
Type-B
Same dimensions as the Deep seal. Beveled lip design provides better film breaking. Utilizes type "B" lip
